Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the business relationship between the operator / seller and the customer / buyer.
1. Online Shop Operator
The operator (seller) of the Wrent online shop is W rent, s.r.o. / Jozef Kľúčik, Považské strojárne industrial complex, Považská Bystrica 017 01.
The protection of your personal data is an important part of the systems and procedures used by our company. These rules explain how W rent, s. r. o., with its registered office at Prečín 277, 018 15 Prečín, Slovakia, Company ID No.: 46 908 668, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Trenčín, Section Sro, Insert No. 27314/R, processes your personal data when providing our services.
2. Customer
The customer (buyer) in the online shop is any natural or legal person who submits an electronic form containing an order for goods (product/products or service/services).
3. Information Required When Placing an Order
When ordering as a natural person – non-business customer, please provide your first name, surname, delivery address, telephone number and email address.
If you are purchasing as a legal entity, company or sole trader, please also provide your business name, Company ID No., Tax ID / VAT ID and billing address if different from the delivery address.
4. Acceptance of an Order
An order is accepted by the operator, and the purchase agreement is therefore concluded, when the operator confirms the correctly and completely submitted order electronically by email.
The operator reserves the right to subsequently adjust the price of the ordered goods.
After submitting your order, a confirmation of receipt and further information about the status of your order will be sent to the email address you provided.
5. Place of Performance and Delivery
The place of performance of the purchase agreement is understood to be the registered office or place of business of the customer specified in the order.
The goods will be delivered by courier service, contracted carrier or the operator’s own transport.
Ownership of the goods passes to the customer upon delivery of the goods, subject to the condition that the purchase price has been paid in full.
6. Delivery Times
The operator will deliver the goods to the customer as soon as possible after receiving the order.
The customer acknowledges that the stated delivery times are indicative only.
If the operator is unable to deliver all ordered goods within the agreed period, the customer will be informed accordingly.
7. Providing Information to the Carrier
If the goods are delivered by a contracted carrier, the customer authorises the operator to provide the carrier with the personal data necessary for the delivery of the goods.
8. Documents and Invoicing
Upon receipt of the goods, the customer will receive a document confirming receipt of the goods.
A tax invoice showing the purchase price and VAT will be sent to the customer by email no later than 14 calendar days after delivery of the goods.
9. Failure to Accept a Shipment
If the customer fails to pay for and accept the ordered goods, the operator may claim compensation for damages caused by the breach of this obligation.
The shipment may only be resent following payment in advance.
10. Withdrawal from the Agreement
A customer acting as a private individual has the right, in accordance with the law, to withdraw from the agreement within 7 working days of receiving the goods.
The purchased goods must be returned in their original condition, including all documentation and accessories.
The operator undertakes to refund the price paid for the relevant goods within 15 calendar days.
11. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The customer may not withdraw from the agreement in the case of goods manufactured according to the customer’s specific requirements or goods which, due to their nature, cannot be returned.
12. Product Prices
The operator reserves the right to change prices.
Discounted product prices are clearly marked with labels such as “special offer” or “sale”.
13. International Delivery
For orders delivered outside Slovakia, payment and delivery conditions will be agreed individually.
14. Warranty Conditions
Warranty conditions are determined according to the type of goods concerned.
15. Complaints and Shipment Damage
The customer is required to inspect the goods carefully upon receipt.
If the shipment is visibly damaged, the customer must contact the operator without accepting the shipment.
16. Order Cancellation
The customer has the right to cancel an order without giving a reason before the goods are dispatched.
The operator has the right to cancel an order if the goods are unavailable or cannot be delivered.
17. Consent to the Processing of Personal Data
The customer declares that they consent to the processing and storage of personal data by the operator.
The customer may withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time.
18. Marketing Information
Following registration or an order, the customer may receive information about news, special offers and services provided by the operator.
19. Legal Relations
Business relations are governed by the relevant provisions of the Civil Code and consumer protection legislation.
20. Electronic Communication
The customer and the operator agree to recognise electronic communication as valid and binding.
21. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
By submitting an order, the customer confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions and agree to them in full.
22. Validity of the Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are valid from 01 July 2020 and fully replace all previous Terms and Conditions.
The operator reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
