SIAT HM11-T / HM11-TB – automatic HOT-MELT case sealers for high-performance packaging lines
SIAT HM11-T and SIAT HM11-TB are fully automatic sealing machines designed for closing cardboard cases using HOT-MELT technology. The HM11-T seals the upper case flaps, while the HM11-TB simultaneously seals both the top and bottom of the case. Both machines are designed for continuous operation in manufacturing facilities, logistics centres and automated packaging lines.
HOT-MELT technology provides a cost-effective alternative to conventional adhesive tape sealing. Combined with cardboard boxes, stretch films, void-fill materials and other packaging machinery, it provides a reliable solution for professional packaging stations.
Cost-effective sealing with HOT-MELT technology
The liquid hot-melt adhesive is applied by a ROBATECH® sealing unit equipped with a 5 kg adhesive tank. Compared with conventional adhesive tape sealing, it offers lower operating costs, higher productivity and tamper-evident package protection.
The control panel allows various sealing programs to be configured, including preheating and adhesive dosing parameters according to the type of case.
High performance for automated packaging lines
The machines achieve an output of up to 1,200 cases per hour. Precise case transport is provided by electrically powered side drive belts, while case movement is monitored by a photocell. The entire process is controlled by a reliable OMRON PLC.
