PKG SMARTWRAP-A – automatic pallet wrapping machine for conveyor lines
The PKG SMARTWRAP-A is a fully automatic wrapping machine designed for integration into production, packaging and logistics lines. Thanks to its powered roller conveyor, pallets enter and exit the machine smoothly without operator intervention, significantly increasing the efficiency of the entire packaging process.
The machine automatically detects the pallet height using a photocell and then performs the complete wrapping cycle, including stretch film clamping, wrapping, cutting and sealing. When combined with high-quality stretch film, it provides reliable protection for goods during storage and transport. For maximum load stability, we also recommend using packaging materials, void-fill material or adhesive tapes.
Fully automatic operation without operator intervention
The PKG SMARTWRAP-A is designed for high-volume packaging operations where pallet handling time must be minimised. Once the pallet arrives on the conveyor, the machine automatically performs the entire wrapping process, including stretch film clamping, cutting and sealing.
Thanks to the integrated powered conveyor, the machine can be easily incorporated into existing automated production or dispatch lines. Automatic communication between the machines ensures a continuous material flow without downtime.
Highly flexible configuration
The machine can be equipped with various film carriage types according to the required pre-stretch level. Available options include an electromagnetic brake carriage (EB), the MPS motorised pre-stretch system and the high-performance MPS2 system with continuously adjustable pre-stretch.
A stabilising top press can be added for wrapping unstable or tall pallets. An automatic film roping unit and a system for sealing the cut end of the stretch film are also available as optional equipment.
