Dual Vertical Strapping with Automatic Edge Protection

VERTICAL STRAPPER PEA is a fully automatic vertical strapping machine designed for the safe and gentle securing of palletised products. It combines two strapping heads with an integrated automatic edge protector applicator, enabling the machine to prepare the product protection and subsequently apply two vertical straps within a single operating cycle.

VERTICAL STRAPPER PEA uses two strapping heads that can operate simultaneously. This enables the machine to apply two vertical straps within a single automatic operating cycle.

Dual strapping reduces the time required to secure the pallet and is particularly suitable for automated production environments requiring higher throughput and repeatability of the packaging process.

Automatic Application of Edge Protectors

Before the strap is tensioned, the machine automatically applies edge protectors to the required positions on the product. These create a protective layer between the product and the strap, helping to prevent damage to corners or surfaces caused by high strap tension.

The entire process is performed automatically without the need for operators to position the edge protectors manually. The result is stable and repeatable packaging with a higher level of product protection.

Automatic Operating Process

Once the pallet arrives at the working position, sensors confirm its correct position and prepare the strapping sequence. The automatic feeding system then places the edge protectors in the required positions.

Once the protective elements have been applied, the two strapping heads perform the vertical strapping and securely stabilise the pallet. After completion of the operating cycle, the finished pallet can automatically continue to the next section of the production or dispatch line.
