Vertical Strapper L
Code: 580000018Product detailed description
Fully Automatic Vertical Strapping Machine with Open Frame
VERTICAL STRAPPER L is a fully automatic strapping machine designed for the vertical securing of palletised products, bundles and bulky industrial products using PP or PET strapping. The open strapping frame combined with a motorised bayonet enables the strap to be guided through the pallet opening, creating strong and precisely positioned strapping without manual operator intervention.
The machine is designed for integration into both new and existing production, packaging, dispatch and logistics lines. The automated operating cycle ensures consistent strapping quality, high process repeatability and minimises the need for manual labour.
Open Frame with Motorised Bayonet
A key feature of the VERTICAL STRAPPER L is its open strapping frame with a motorised bayonet. Once the pallet stops in the strapping position, the bayonet automatically extends through the pallet opening and creates a precise path for the strap.
This solution enables fully automatic vertical strapping of palletised products directly within the production or dispatch line.
Application Accuracy up to ± 0.5 mm
Precise pallet positioning and controlled movement of the strapping mechanism enable the strap to be applied with an accuracy of up to ± 0.5 mm. This high level of repeatability is particularly beneficial in automated production processes where every strap must be positioned at a precisely defined point.
Tensioning Force 100 – 4,500 N
The strapping system allows the tensioning force to be adjusted within a range of 100 – 4,500 N. The value can be adapted to the weight, stability and sensitivity of the specific product – from lighter cardboard packages to heavy palletised industrial products.
SIAT GS41 Strapping Head
VERTICAL STRAPPER L uses an industrial SIAT GS41 strapping head. Once the strap has been fed around the load, the head tensions it, creates a strong friction-welded joint and subsequently cuts the strap.
The result is a strong joint without the need for metal seals or any additional joining materials.
Automatic Operating Cycle
Once the product stops in the precise strapping position, the machine receives a signal from the higher-level control system. The motorised bayonet extends through the pallet opening and prepares the path for the strap.
The PP or PET strap is then automatically fed around the product, tensioned to the preset force and joined by the strapping head using friction welding. Once the cycle is complete, the pallet is ready to continue along the conveyor line.
PP or PET Strapping
The machine is designed for PP or PET strapping in widths of 12, 16 or 19 mm. The specific type of strap is selected according to the weight, stability and handling requirements of the product.
- PP strapping – an economical and flexible solution for lighter and medium-duty products, cartons and grouped packages.
- PET strapping – a strong solution for heavy pallets and products exposed to higher dynamic loads.
Siemens S7-1200 Control System
The machine is controlled by an industrial SIEMENS S7-1200 system. The touchscreen control panel enables operating programmes and tensioning force to be set and allows individual machine functions to be controlled manually during setup or servicing.
Custom Dimensions for Each Application
VERTICAL STRAPPER L is designed according to the product dimensions, pallet type, working height and production line layout. The width and height of the strapping frame, working height and conveyor configuration can all be adapted to the customer's specific application.
